Children and Youth Programs
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
— Proverbs 22:6 (ESV)

YOUTH
Youth Group
Ascension’s youth program combines study, service, and fellowship. Through The Project Bible and Jesus Calling, youth connect faith with daily life while serving others—whether preparing Blessing Bags, supporting Children’s Chapel, or leading in worship as acolytes. Pilgrimages, including past journeys to Canterbury and the Camino de Santiago, offer life-changing opportunities to grow in faith and community.
Worship Leadership
From third grade onward, children and youth serve as acolytes, readers, greeters, and chapel helpers, building confidence and a sense of belonging in the parish.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, VBS welcomes children from the parish and community for creative, faith-filled fun. Themes have included Ascension Gardens (2024) and Superhero Training Camp (2025), blending crafts, games, and Bible lessons into a joyful discovery experience.
