Leadership
Jesus calls his followers to a different kind of leadership, where the great among them must be a servant and the first must be a slave, just as he came to serve, not to be served.
Lay Leadership

Ascension thrives through the active participation of lay leaders in every ministry. Our vestry works closely with the rector and ministry leaders, and parishioners are encouraged to join committees that match their interests. Each committee has a lay chair and a vestry liaison. Committee Sundays
Once a month, committees meet after the 10:30 service to review plans and accomplishments. Representatives then share updates with the vestry and clergy, keeping leadership connected and informed.

This collaborative structure ensures that Ascension’s ministries and operations continue smoothly, even during times of transition, supported by a dedicated team of leaders and volunteers.
