ADULTS AT ASCENSION
Formation continues throughout all the seasons of our lives. Even after confirmation, we are being formed as disciples so we can go out as apostles. Adult formation allows us to gather multiple times each week to study Scripture, fellowship, and read books through the lens of our faith tradition. By growing together, we support one another through life’s seasons. Our Fall Formation classes begin on Sunday, September 13 at 9:15 a.m. We hope to see you thre!​

Join Mtr. Rebecca, for the launch of our Adult Formation series, starting Sunday, September 13th at 9:15 a.m. in the Office Conference Room.

For two weeks, she'll lead us through a closer look at the Nicene Creed and what it means to live it out as Christians today. This ancient statement of faith has shaped believers for over 1,600 years, and it's still worth wrestling with: what do we actually mean when we say "we believe"?

WOMEN IN THE OLD TESTAMENT

Meet the mothers, queens, prophets, and warriors of the Old Testament, women whose stories have too often gone unheard. Using Sister Irene Nowell's study, we'll explore well-known figures like Sarah, Ruth, and Deborah alongside lesser-known women like Tamar and Jezebel, and discover what their stories reveal about God and about us. ​​​​​​

Join the men of Ascension as we study Adam Hamilton's The Walk, examining five essential spiritual practices rooted in Jesus' own walk with God: worship, study, serving, giving, and bearing witness to our faith. Each week we'll explore what these practices looked like for Jesus, how the New Testament calls us to live them out, and what they mean for our daily walk with Christ and our life together as a church.

​All parents with children from birth through college are invited to our Parents’ Social Hub on Sunday mornings from 9:20 to 10:10. Join us to connect with other parents, enjoy refreshments, and engage in a casual discussion about a daily reading from the series Jesus Calling. No preparation is required. We look forward to seeing you in the Parlor on Sunday mornings at 9:20!
