ADULT FORMATION

“…We are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Isaiah 64:8b NRSV

ADULTS AT ASCENSION

Formation continues throughout all the seasons of our lives. Even after confirmation, we are being formed as disciples so we can go out as apostles. Adult formation allows us to gather multiple times each week to study Scripture, fellowship, and read books through the lens of our faith tradition. By growing together, we support one another through life’s seasons.

ADULT FALL FORMATION

Beginning Sunday, January 4th | 9:15 a.m.

This winter, our adult formation group will be reading and discussing Sermon on the Mount: A Beginner's Guide to the Kingdom of Heaven by Amy-Jill Levine. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches followers how to live in God’s kingdom by following a deep, internal sense of righteousness that goes beyond external rules. In addition to examining the historical context of the Sermon, Levine’s book delves into these ideas and how to use them into our lives today. Please join us for this engaging series beginning January 4th at 9:15 a.m.
