ADULT FORMATION
“…We are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Isaiah 64:8b NRSV
ADULTS AT ASCENSION
Formation continues throughout all the seasons of our lives. Even after confirmation, we are being formed as disciples so we can go out as apostles. Adult formation allows us to gather multiple times each week to study Scripture, fellowship, and read books through the lens of our faith tradition. By growing together, we support one another through life’s seasons.
ADULT FORMATION
Office Conference Room
Sundays at 9:15 a.m.
April 14 - June 25, 2024
This Easter season, our adult formation group will be reading and reflecting on John Stott's Letters of John. These letters help us visualize a world marked by assurance, knowledge, confidence, and boldness. The certainty of Christian people is twofold: objective (that the Christian religion is true) and subjective (that they have been born of God and possess eternal life). Both are shared by John, who takes it for granted that this double assurance is right and healthy. Today we urgently need to hear and heed his teaching about the nature of these certainties and the grounds on which they are built. Please join us for this engaging series beginning April 14th at 9:15 a.m. All adults are welcome!
