ADULT FORMATION
“…We are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Isaiah 64:8b NRSV
ADULTS AT ASCENSION
Formation continues throughout all the seasons of our lives. Even after confirmation, we are being formed as disciples so we can go out as apostles. Adult formation allows us to gather multiple times each week to study Scripture, fellowship, and read books through the lens of our faith tradition. By growing together, we support one another through life’s seasons.

ADULT FORMATION | THE ANGELS OF CHRISTMAS
By Susan Robb
Office Conference Room
All adults are invited to join us for our Advent formation class starting next Sunday, November 26, at 9:15 a.m. We'll be reading and discussing The Angels of Christmas, a four-week study that explores the four angelic visits surrounding the birth of Jesus with Zechariah, Mary, Joseph, and the shepherds. In this study, the reader will explore the visits and dive deep into the history of the angel Gabriel–and other angels–in the Old Testament. Each session is followed by a thought-provoking page of questions that allow for a deeper experience of the scriptural passages. Click HERE to order the book. Join us to unpack this insightful book. All adults are welcome.
MEN'S BOOK GROUP | WHEN GOD COMES DOWN
By James A. Harnish
All men are invited to join our Advent book study starting next Sunday, November 26 at 9:15 a.m. in the Youth and Outreach Center. We are reading James Harnish's When God Comes Down, available through Amazon and Kindle. Often our Advent/Christmas journey is focused on us – our memories, feelings, relationships, and experiences. This study puts the focus on God’s action in Jesus Christ. It encourages participants to think more deeply in terms of the biblical, theological, and spiritual meaning of the Nativity and to apply it to their own life experiences. Come along with us as we unpack this thought-provoking book. Questions? Contact Doug Taber @ taber5@sbcglobal.net
