Your word is a lamp before my feet and a light for my journey.”

YOUTH AT ASCENSION
Adolescence is a time of exploration and transition. Through our Youth Council, our young people take ownership of their community. Supported by a team of caring adults, our youth are given the tools to live out their faith as leaders in our parish. Service projects, pilgrimages, social events, and Bible study are all part of our youth offerings.

YOUTH AND OUTREACH CENTER
"Abide!" – a revamped Youth Group experience with a fresh perspective. This year's Abide program is centered around three key pillars: fellowship, service, and a comprehensive exploration of foundational biblical principles. Don't miss the opportunity to engage in the enriching journey through the Foundations in Bible Basics curriculum with us. by a team of caring adults, we strive to be an affirming space where the big questions can be asked and examined together. We are always looking for people to donate snacks and games for Sunday evening. Following is an easy way to contribute through our WISH LIST. Please contact Eva Barraza if you'd like to help out!
CONFIRMATION | 13+
Confirmation is the sacramental rite in which the candidates express a mature commitment to Christ and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop. Those who were baptized at an early age are invited to make a mature public affirmation of their faith. Confirmation classes will help prepare candidates for the sacrament as we explore the church's teachings and develop our own faith identity. Contact Fr. Paul Klitzke if you are interested in participating in the next series of classes.

PARENTS OF YOUTH
Parents are the primary providers of faith formation for their children. At Ascension, we are blessed to work alongside our parents in the formation of their teenagers. During youth formation, there are offerings for parents allowing for family formation.
