For everything, there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven... Ecclesiastes 3:1
It has been a blessing to see so many of you in worship these last few weeks. There is joy in hearing the many voices singing and praying together. I am grateful for those who continue to join us online as well; it helps us stay connected. I imagine the continued live stream will help us all from time to time, whether homebound or traveling. It can also be a great tool as we seek to share what our worship is like with others.
Even as we gather, I know we have work left to do. The choir, acolytes, and lay eucharistic ministers have expressed an interest in returning to serve. As summer continues, we will offer refresher training for a variety of ministries. Please know we're in conversations about the best time to restore these and we'll continue to keep you updated.
In the meantime, I am grateful for your patience, your participation, and your commitment to our parish. You may have noticed some new faces in the pews and Zoom formation classes. If you have joined us during this season of pandemic, your presence has been a blessing. Welcome! As we gather each Sunday we will continue to connect and get to know one another. Together, we will emerge from this difficult time in our lives and experience the kingdom of God.
Blessings,
Paul
