The Annual Parish Meeting is an important part of our life together. This year's meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 30 at 9 am. We will gather to reflect on this past year through written and verbal reports. We also get a glimpse at the year ahead. Elections for new vestry and convention delegates are held, as well as a presentation of the budget.
Last year the Annual Parish Meeting was on Zoom. This year members can choose to attend in person or online. At our recent vestry meeting, there was a clear desire to ensure everyone would be able to attend and participate. For your reference, those leading the meeting along with members present will gather in the Parish Hall and there will be a monitor in the Youth and Outreach Building for overflow seating. We also hope to place a monitor in the Courtyard, weather permitting. Others may choose to attend from home, joining via Zoom.
Please expect an email from me next week with information about those standing for election. This will allow ample time to review the information prior to the meeting. The Annual Parish Meeting booklet, along with the Zoom invite, will arrive in the @ Ascension email on Thursday, January 27th. I hope you will hold our preparation and the meeting in your prayers and plan to attend.
