About the Event
Pentecost is observed on the seventh Sunday after Easter and 10 days after the Ascension. This holy day marks the end of the Easter season and commemorates the coming of the Holy Spirit in the form of flames to the Apostles and other followers of Jesus, as recorded in the New Testament in Acts 2:1–31. It is a tradition to wear red on this day so please don your favorite red shirt, shoes, pants, etc.!
