ASCENSION MEN'S RETREAT
Men of Ascension: Fr. Paul invites you to join him at Camp All Saints for a time of prayer, study, and retreat. We’ll meet at Ascension at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29th, and drive to All Saints together, returning at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30th.

About the Event
ABOUT THE RETREAT Prayer is a primary way Christians fulfill the Great Commandment to love God, our neighbor, and ourselves, and it’s the foundation of everything else we do to show that love. Yet for something so integral to the practice of our faith, prayer remains stubbornly mysterious. What happens when we pray? Do our prayers change anything? How should we pray? These questions persist. Our men’s retreat will explore prayer practices to include the Lord’s Prayer, praying with the psalms and in song, silent prayers, and “moving” prayers offered when walking a labyrinth. Scripture and tradition show us that when we seek God through prayer, we will find, by grace, the One who has already reached out to us in love. The program goal guided by the book Seek and You Will Find, is to come to know yourself better as God's beloved, to grow closer to siblings in Christ as we seek, together, to develop the relationship God deeply desires with you.
