Partnerships with groups that meet at Ascension
We, at Ascension, believe we are blessed with great space. We believe that part of this blessing is to share it with others at times, particularly with groups that share in our mission. Here are a few examples of such partnerships at this time.
Pamper Lake Highlands is utilizing space in the "Upper Building" at Ascension to provide programs and live out their mission.
"Pamper Lake Highlands shows the love of Jesus and empowers communities by providing resources to families living in poverty. Beyond meeting the immediate need of diapers, our programs include ESL, financial literacy, and parenting classes; addiction recovery; counseling and Bible Studies. Our curriculum-based childcare program provides Pre-K readiness for children. We nurture parents and children, empowering families for generations to come."
Mental Health Support Group
This support group is led by a professional who leads the group in solving a wide variety of personal issues. We meet every second Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. The group is free and open to the public. If you have any questions, please call the church office.
Alanon and other support groups use our space as well, if you are interested in connecting with a particular group please contact us.
