Yesterday, today and tomorrow

"'I am the Alpha and the Omega,' says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." - Revelation 1:8

Christ is ever before us, leading the way.  As we consider how we can reflect Christ to the world, we can consider what is, what was and what is yet to come!

We give thanks for what has been.  Last Sunday was a terrific All Saints Day celebration.  Baptisms are good cause for celebration and there was so much more too!  The ingathering was a great success with 83 pledge cards received and roughly 80% of the pledged dollars needed for the draft budget.

We give thanks for what is.  The weather has fluctuated widely over the past few weeks, the seasons are certainly changing.  Please come support the church work day this Saturday morning, these tasks are particularly important as seasons change.  Indoor and outdoor work, jobs big and small, there is something for everyone.  Come and join us, bring a rake or saw and a pair of work gloves if you're able.

What give thanks for what is yet to come.  As the season continues to change before us, there is much to look forward to at Ascension.  Part of our preparing includes the acolyte training this Sunday (at 11:30).  We need more adults and youth participants, please join us.  All of these things together help prepare us for the season ahead.

Blessings -
Fr. Paul
