Saturday, may 4:
In any given day in the Dallas Fort Worth area, there are nearly 4,000 men, women and children who are homeless. Many live on the streets, in cars and in shelters. Austin Street Center provides food and shelter at night to homeless men and women---many who actually have jobs but do not make a large enough wage to secure permanent housing. Ascension has been involved with Austin Street Shelter for many years by providing a hot meal throughout the year.
On Saturday May 4 Ascension will bring and serve dinner at Austin Street. Please join us as we meet at the church at 5:30p. Bring two (or one or more) cooked party-size lasagnas wrapped (preferably in newspaper). We need at least 50 lasagnas and 15 servers. This is a great opportunity for parents and children ! It is very important we know how many lasagnas and servers we have, so please sign up in the Narthex, click on the icon above, email Brian Kasper or call 972-358-5965. Thank you !
