Formation is open to everyone and you are welcome to join anytime. Our Sunday formation begins at 9:00-9:50 each week during the school year.
Middle School (6 - 8 Grade): Youth House
The Episcopal Curriculum for Youth was developed with the help of youth, so it is certain to be engaging, relatable, and fun! The middle school curriculum is focused on nurturing individuals in their faith by word, example, and friendships.
High School (9 - 12 Grade): Youth House:
The high school curriculum in the Episcopal Curriculum for Youth is awesome. It offers a wide-range of opportunities for teens to explore their faith, their traditions, and their world around them through discussions, activities, and field trips.
Other Formation Opportunities
Youth Group “Inhabit”: Youth House, Sunday nights from 6:00 - 8:00pm
Ascension’s youth group is open to all youth from 6-12 grade. This is a time of fellowship, worship,
explorations of faith and fun. Guest speakers, outreach opportunities, games, food, music, movies, and art are some of the activities that you may find on Sunday nights at Ascension!
Occasionally, we will meet with all the classes together in the parish hall for special programs during formation hour. Keep an eye out for those dates and announcements in the bulletin. These will often be close to high Holy Days and will include creative programming for all ages.
