Here we gather
a motley group
strangers and friends
to gather the scoop.

Weeks of training
I hope I'm prepared
to listen and protect
the news that you share.

We're all so busy
the schedule is packed
we're giving this time
for something they lacked.

With God's help
we listen and pray
making life easier
day by day.

By giving we receive
this we all know
sitting here with you
