| Olivia Oliver |
Olivia Oliver passed away as a result of a lengthy illness at the age of 63 in her daughter's home surrounded by family and friends on July 27, 2007. She was born on January 21, 1944 in Ruston, LA. From college until her retirement in 2006, Olivia was employed as an elementary school teacher. She was a natural teacher with the patience of a saint. Years after they had left her class, former pupils would often show up just to say hello and get a hug. As a mother, she taught her children about life, love and responsibility through example and not mere words. As a grandmother, she showered each grandchild with love and affection making sure each knew they were special. She was not false and her love was unconditional. We will miss her greatly.
Olivia was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Oliver, who fell victim to a fatal heart attack two years previously. She is Survived by mother-in-law Louise Oliver; brother Pat Fox and his wife Lori; sister-in-law Gini Fox; daughter Missy Kaiser and her husband Paul; son Kenneth Oliver and his wife Donell; grandchildren Jesse, Kory and Nick Kaiser as well as Kate and Chloe Oliver; niece Sarah Fox; and nephews Patrick, Lindsey and John Simon Fox.
